Sensational guitar cover of "Somebody That I Used to Know" [video]

Mike Dawes removed the memorable lyrics from Gotye’s megahit "Somebody That I Used to Know" and still managed to produce a cover worth a watch. Dawes’ acoustic guitar version of the song even earned kudos from the notoriously critical YouTube commenters.

This guy is truly a "musician’s musician." The degree of difficulty that he’s demonstrating with his guitar licks is incredible. More importantly, he does them with ease, showing how many years of hard work and practice that he’s put in.
